Editors from Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Dr. Tamaryin Godinho and Dr. Xin Su came A delegation of six from the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Research & Innovation Center and department of chemistry held an exchange in Room 217 of the Old-Hall of Chemistry at afternoon of March 1, 2018. The meeting first introduced the Department of Chemistry’s scientific research and achievements to the foreign guests by Prof. Lei Liu, vice head of chemistry department. The Japanese team was briefed by Takashi Ishide, the chief technician of Mitsubishi Research Institute, and Hikaru Tashiro, the consultant of Mitsubishi Science and Technology Innovation Center. Afterwards, experts from Japan and chemistry department, Prof. Jinming Lin, Prof. Yongge Wei, Prof. Dehua He, and Prof. Qiang Liu exchanged ideas. They are looking forward to further in-depth talks of joint research in areas of common interest.
After the meeting, the Japanese representative visited the laboratories, Analysis Center, and The Key Laboratory of Bioorganic Phosphorus Chemistry & Chemical Biology of Ministry of Education under the guide of Dr. Guoli Dong.
