近年来致力于分析化学、生物分析化学、化学生物学、纳米分析化学、单细胞分析化学、纳米电化学及环境能源电化学等领域的教学科研工作。以通讯作者在Nature Nanotech., Nature Protocol, Nature Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Anal. Chem.等学术刊物上发表SCI论文300余篇,应邀在Acc. Chem. Res.,Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev.等期刊发表综述,论文被他引>46,000次,H-index 109。2015-2019年连续五年入选汤森路透全球高被引科学家。以第一完成人获国家自然科学奖二等奖、教育部自然科学奖一等奖、中国分析测试协会科学技术一等奖等。
