Prof. Dr. Li, born Dec. 1967.  B.Sc. from University of Science and Technology of China in 1991, and Ph.D. from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1996. Post doc or research scientist at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of California at Santa Barbara, Clemson University, and Evonyx Inc., New York (1997-2001). A Professor at CIAC from May 2001 and Tsinghua University from July 2004. Current research interests include electroanalytical chemistry and bioanalysis, physical electrochemistry and interfacial electrochemistry, electrochemical materials science and nanoscopic electrochemistry, fundamental aspects of energy conversion and storage, advanced battery materials, and photoelectrochemistry. Associate Editor, Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids (Elsevier); Associate Editor, Science of Advanced Materials (American Scientific Publishers, USA).
