Prof. Zhang, graduated from Tsinghua University of China in 1970y, and received his Master degree in Tsinghua University in 1980y. He is now the Vice-Director of Key lab of Organic Optoelectronics & Molecular Engineering of Ministry of Education, Director of Storage Materials Lab of Optical Memory National Engineering Researching Centre, and director of Chinese Society for Imaging Science and Technology. His research interests are focused on novel photochromic diarylethene derivatives, photosensitizer and photodynamic therapy, new materials for photochemistry and laser chemistry, and electronic transfer and energy transfer of excited state.
