On the morning of July 3, Tsinghua University hosted a professorship appointment ceremony for Professor Omar Yaghi in the Main Building Reception Hall. Qiu Yong, Secretary of the CPC Tsinghua University Committee attended the ceremony, President Li Luming presented the official appointment letter to Omar Yaghi, and Vice President Wang Hongwei presided over the event. Also present were academicians including Yao Qizhi, Gao Huajian, Chen Deliang, Li Yadong, Cheng Jinpei, Zhang Hongjie, Li Jun, along with leading officials from relevant municipal departments of Beijing and representatives from peer universities, attended the appointment ceremony.
