Dean of The School of Biotechnology, KTH visited the Department

  Prof. Amelie Eriksson Karlström, who is the Dean of The School of Biotechnology, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, visited the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University  with two of his colleagues,, at March 10th 2014. Prof. Lei Liu, who is the vice-Dean the Department gave an introduction about the research and education of the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University, with two of his colleagues,  and then gave reply to the questions that the guests concerned, like the international exchanging students and so on. Both universities expressed their willing of improving the collaboration on the joint education between two sides.

  KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, in swedish, located in the capital city Stockholm, Sweden. It was founded in 1827, named as Teknologiska Institutet in Swedish at that time, and transferred to its current name in 1877. It is now one of the largest technology institutes and the eldest public technology university in Sweden. It has other campus in Kista, Huddinge and Sodertalje. It is worldwide famous because it cultivated nearly one third engineers in Sweden and also because of its extensively international collaboration on research and education.
