The Key Laboratory of Bioorganic Phosphorus Chemistry & Chemical Biology of the Ministry of Education was established in 1989. The laboratory has 55 permanent researchers, including 3 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 34 full-time professors and 14 associate professors. The academic committee of the laboratory comprises 15 professors from all over the country. The main research activities in this lab focus on the fundamental aspects of 1) synthetic methodology of small active molecules; 2) synthetic methodology of biological macromolecules; 3) high-sensitivity detection of life systems; and 4) Processes of Cells and complex life systems.
