Associate Prof. Li obtained both his B.S. degree in Applied Chemistry (1993) and his M.S. degree in Physical Chemistry (1996) from School of Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He then moved on to obtain his Ph.D in Physical Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, NanjingUniversity in 1998, working with Professor Yingqiu Liang and Professor Gaoquan Shi. In 1999 he joined the Department of Chemistry at the NanjingUniversity as a Lecturer and was promoted to an Associated Professor in 2001. From 2001 to 2003 he was a postdoctoral fellow with Professor Toyoko Imae at NagoyaUniversity. In 2003-2005, he was a postdoctoral research associate with Professor Seiji Shinkai at KyushuUniversity. Currently he is an Associated Professor at the Department of Chemistry, TsinghuaUniversity. His research interests focus on polymer materials.
