Dr. Xu received BSc at College of Chemistry, Beijing Normal University (2009), and PhD in Organic Chemistry at Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2014). After two years of postdoctoral training with Prof. Xi Zhang at Tsinghua University, he joined the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University as an Assistant Professor in 2016. He was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2018. He was awarded the CCS Young Chemists Award (2018), enrolled in the National Youth Talent Support Program (2020), and awarded the CCS Lectureship Award for Creative Young Supramolecular Chemists (2022). His research interests are focused on supramolecular polymers and functional supramolecular assemblies.
