Dr. Guocan Yu received his BS degree in polymer materials and engineering from Hefei University of Technology in 2010. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the Zhejiang University in 2015 under the mentorship of Prof. Feihe Huang. Then he joined Dr. Xiaoyuan (Shawn) Chen’s Laboratory of Molecular Imaging and Nanomedicine (LOMIN) at the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), National Institutes of Health (NIH), as a postdoctoral research fellow. He joined the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University to start his independent research career in the late of 2020 as an assistant professor. His current research interests are mainly focused on supramolecular functional materials and supramolecular theranostics. He was continuously ranked in the “Top 1% Highly Cited Chinese Author List” in general chemistry group portfolio of RSC journals in 2019 and 2020. He was also selected as a “2020 Highly Cited Researcher” by Clarivate Analytics.
